Terms of Business

Permanent Recruitment

The acceptance of a you're hired Resume and/or the interviewing of a candidate introduced by you're hired will be deemed acceptance by the client of the Terms and Conditions set out herein.

The client agrees to notify you're hired immediately a Candidate has accepted a position and to pay the relevant placement fee to you're hired within 30 days of commencement of employment of the
Candidate.

The Permanent Placement fee is payable to you're hired by the client for the introduction of a Candidate and is an amount equal to a percentage of the gross annual salary package paid by the client to the candidate. Gross Annual Salary is defined and includes annual salary, plus superannuation, plus other employee benefits including vehicle allowance or motor vehicle if applicable. For the purpose of calculation a motor vehicle will be costed at a minimum of $12,000 per annum.

Fees

12% of salary package, applicable to all placements.

Advertising costs

General recruitment advertising will be at the expense of you're hired and includes internet and lineage advertisements. Specific advertising, including advertisements in the major city papers or display advertising requested and/or agreed by the client will be charged at cost.

Reference Checking
Reference checking is carried out as far as it is possible to do so. you're hired will take reasonable steps to confirm the qualifications, experience, ability and identity of the candidate they source, however you're hired makes no representation as to the actual skill level or competence of the candidate. This means –
you're hired will accept academic qualifications offered by the candidate and will only seek confirmation of them at source if you're hired suspects they are not genuine.
you're hired will conduct two reference checks on a candidate the client expresses an interest in hiring and will make the results of the checks available to the client where the referee agrees to allow this.
you're hired will not conduct a police probity check or criminal records search unless requested and paid for by the client.
you're hired will not arrange for the conduct of any medical checks unless requested and paid for by the client.
you're hired will ask the candidate for proof of identity at the time of first interview.
